Although I suppose I do have a twitter account. And I'm new to couch surfing. Does anyone else happen to have an account on either? It's lonely out there in the internet.

Couch surfing is a way of meeting people while you travel, and possibly of having a free place to crash when you do. It's also a way of creating extended, somewhat verifiable networks so you have some means of trusting the people with whom you might stay. I'm set to meet a pretty Italian girl and her boyfriend for drinks tomorrow night, as a result.
