Boston was destroyed by ten children's toys and a cartoon character. The people in charge of all of this are crying that hundreds of thousands of dollars have been wasted in responding to the false bomb scare, and that this is the fault of the television network responsible for the guerrilla ad campaign. It would seem that American anti-terrorism groups, incapable of deciphering the cryptic symbols of our own popular culture, don't bother with research, and haven't the slightest idea what their children are watching on television late at night. (All this while we're at war without translators because queers aren't fit for military service, by the by.) I suppose one can't expect much from a city that takes pride in destroying three-hundred and forty-two crates of tea, but really. This was just too offensive.

War and terrorism. Failure to communicate. Disappointment.

How would queers improve this situation?

They were simply the majority. It isn't exactly wise to fire most of your translators during wartime.

Ah, I see. I wasn't aware this had happened. Another great stride for diplomacy.
