Indochine is really very good, though not hiphop. La Floa Maldita has about 60% of their music in French. Also very good.

The only French hiphop I know (besides MC Solaar, of course) is Gary Flanagan, whose "Metro Boulot Dodo" is the greatest song of all time.

With the exception of "Under the Sea" (the Bobby Darin, not The Little Mermaid version)... I think the only French songs I know are from the Amelie soundtrack. Which is completely and totally awesome.

Shall I tell you the French songs on my playlist? They are in order of how often I play them.

On N'a Pas Besoin - Paris Combo (♥!)

Un Jour Comme un Autre - Brigitte Bardot (sexy)

Je Me Suit Fait Tout Petit - Georges Brassens (he's been around popular music in France forever, and his lyrics are generally considered to be great poetry)

Mal Ô Mains - Sanseverino (cute peppy song with a very typical French sound)

En Douce - Baguette Quartette (short and silly, sounds like Amelie, with accordian and all)

La Mer Opale - Coralie Clément (she sings all soft and breathy)

Juste Quelqu'un de Bien - Enzo Enzo ( I don't know if you've ever played the Sims, but to me, this song sounds exactly like the Sims.

Ondulé - Mathieu Boogaerts ( I don't know if I ever played you The Incredible Moses Leroy, but this guy kinda sounds like the French version.)

Manau is the name of a French Rap group. I think I sent you a couple of thier songs nearly two years ago...

Disiz la Peste is another French Rap group. I found them only recently, but I rather like them.

I do not have this song anymore, but it was one of my most favorite songs when I had it, and it makes me sad I can't find it. It's called La Parapluie, by Daniel Bélanger. If you can find it, let me know!

Hope this helps?

Ack! I forgot to mention IAM. More French rap. Probably the most like American rap out of the ones I've mentioned.

And after posting that comment, I went on a search to find La Parapluie, and I found it! Yay! *does a little dance*
