i went inside of the trash garden today. i kissed the wall. i found small things. i went into the studio, too. he bought the land back. it won't be destroyed. the studio will be open as a gallery soon. things are good.

at a crucial time in my life it allowed me to begin what could be called a life's work making the city of philadelphia pa usa into a labyrinthine mosaic museum that incorporates all my varied knowledge and skills.

this is one of the reasons why i love philadelphia (despite itself). its a dirty, grey little provincial city, but it has fragments of glory that appear in the oddest of places.
