rule britannia!

although i still think of today as we're very sorry great britain please take us back/early bastille day, robin and kaitlin's absurd blind patriotism (which is actually kind of cool) is inspiring me to think of things i like about america. they are as follows:

• peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.



• a lot of my best friends happen to be americans. weird.



• benjamin franklin.



• philadelphia!



• pittsburgh!



• an abundance of flavours of ice cream. i realize that this isn't entirely an american thing, but we are pretty good at it.



• the dancing statue of liberty at the end of ghost busters two, a brilliant film which we happen to be watching at this very moment.



• the fact that we used to be british.
