goodness me, but i am tired. i walked all over the world today in a light rain with rocks in my bag and straps on my shoulders. but the world was a fog and the sky was close. i saw a bridge disappear halfway through into nothing. the world ate new jersey. there are blossoms on the trees, now.

firinel and floatyfish and i invaded a diner on south street and absolutely refused to leave. the police came twice, but we ignored them. we spoke of ghosts, genders, religions, families. fin's daughter is delightful. i rather like meeting people who describe their lives in terms of their livejournals. i worry that i was a bit too quiet; i tend to do that when i meet new people. i'm terribly sorry if i was.

this may be a silly thing to say, but i really like the internet. it is sort of taboo to get mail or phone calls from people you meet here. meeting them and sleeping with them seem to be generally thought of as bad ideas as well. my sister regularly has nightmares that one of my penpals comes to our house and kills us. but there are some really neat people here. it's the meat world (™autodidactic) you have to worry about, sometimes. besides, the meat world seems to want me to only know people who are about my age, in about my income bracket, from about the same geographic location, with about the same level of education. my meat world friends are incredible, beautiful people, but i'm really rather fond of diversity.

i was rather broke for a long time, but i miraculously have money again. at first i thought i wouldn't know what to do with myself when i actually got it again, but i was wrong. i have purple hair dye! (why on earth do i always write "dyke"? honestly, fingers. what are you thinking of?) i have a shirt! i have new trousers! i have a "feminism is the radical notion that women are people," shirt, too, but that came from the lovely miss diseasedisorder.
