disney land is cool for the following reasons: indiana jones and the temple of the forbidden eye, where lindsey works, is the coolest ride ever. pirates, new orleans, star wars, haunted mansions, jessica rabbit, neat fireworks, alice in wonderland, peter pan, and happy people are great and wonderful and fantastic. it is also good because it proved to me yet again that i'm still not yet bitter and jaded. (i worry about that, sometimes.)

riding horses for a long time in beautiful places is cool, but bruises and stinging nettles are not.

today we go hunting for cliffs or beaches or burnt things or carnivorous plants so we can be beautiful there later.

usually, it's rather attractive. i still like getting really excited about rain and good smells and the number three, though, so i'd rather avoid it for a bit longer.

there's no reason why one can't be bitter and jaded and still get excited about rain and good smells and the number three. unless, of course, consistency is important to you. but imho consistency is really only important in pancake batter...
