they're not really all out to get us, are they? i know martyrdom complexes aren't particularly attractive, but avoiding paranoia is getting more and more difficult. lately it seems like the world is splitting into teams. as a big fan of plurality, the idea that there could be sides worries me. or perhaps it isn't so much that there are sides as it is that there are so few of them. at any rate, the fact that my friends and i tended to be the last picked in gym isn't comforting.

i got my first ever zine in the mail today from [livejournal.com profile] autodidactic. i wrote some more of my mutilation paper. i walked to a chain drugstore, located at an intersection that features three chain drugstores, two of which were built at the exact same time, to buy ben and jerry's.

icecream is good, but these things can only be cured with comic books.

can someone make SUVs stop happening, please?

i'm really tired. does this entry even make sense?

maybe if we all just killed one, we'd make people reconsider buying new ones, knowing there are SUV activists on the loose?

i let a girl i was seeing when i lived in dublin borrow my copy of the first tank girl graphic novel. she thought i was giving it to her. it was my favourite one. woe! misery! death!

There are always sides. But you can decide not to choose any.

What sides do you see the world choosing?

This is something I've never experienced, being picked last. Having not gone to school, there were never teams where people get picked before other people. Everything I ever did was boys against girls. Though surely I would have been picked last, having no athletic talents whatsoever.

I was picked last in every single gym class in 8th grade and I sat on the bench every game...it's an honor.

I wasn't always picked last, fortunately. I and the most of the art majors, due to shitty scheduling, were forced due to our small size, to primarily have gym with the boys, who were also prodominately from art majors. We were so small we simply played boys vs. girls each time so there was no picking needed.
The boys would taunt us some, and say they'd kick our ass because we were girls, but I broke a boy's nose playing field hockey once, and after that the boys were kind of afraid of us girls.

I hate lockrooms.

Anyway. Yes, you make sense. Always.

wow. that's really cool. i was slightly more respected in summer camp after a rogue hockey stick gave me a black eye, but i can't remember having maimed anyone else.

oh they are!!! *looks around nervously* they most certainly are.... "as a big fan of plurality" *hugs you*
don;t worry too much, gym doesn't really matter... they like you to think it does, but it doesn't. the pecking order of gym, usually ends up with the last picked actually doing the best things with their life, and all the way down, and i do mean down, to the one always picked as team captain, who ends up cleaning your pool... or drowning in a pool of their own vomit.

*smiles* yay plurality!

hee. i think that is my new power mantra. "they'll drown in a pool of their own vomit while cleaning my pool they'll drown in a pool of their own vomit while cleaning my pool they'll drown in a pool of their own vomit while cleaning my pool..."
