it would seem that i do have a paper due on monday. how supremely odd. i suppose i'll have to write that at some point.

yesterday i got a scanner in the mail, because ashblue is one of the most wonderful people in the world. i also got a girlpirate lego and a book and fruits postcards and a subversive shirt. the scanner is not technically working yet, but i'll soon fix that. thank you thank you thank you, my good zombie.

after i got this amazing package, i went to liz's house. we watched lots of geeky tv, including underworld (lame) and gargoyles (awesome). the episode of gargoyles not only featured most of the cast of star trek: the next generation, but also tim curry as an unethical scientist who cloned things. he was obviously wearing pearls under his lab coat. following this, we went online where we were reminded of jeff goldblum's greatness and played on quizilla, where we were date raped via rpg, and proved that we know a lot about feudal europe. as an aside, i would like to state that my newfound ability to laugh at rape jokes is simultaneously the least politically correct and, psychologically, the most positive thing to have happened to me in recent years. my crazy friends rule at life.

we slept. i had odd dreams, about my parents, and trains, and a house that was too big and too far away from everything else. it was about space, and time, about too much and not enough. it was about the boy, too, and strangely, neverireven.

i am home, now. i made the best lady grey tea the world has ever known.

i am happy, and it is overflowing. i want to give some of it to you. i want to put some in a box, and save it for later.

zombie girl is responsible for lego though. zombie boy wasnt sure if lesbians played with lego, and i decided to err on the side of a particular lesbian liking pirates for sure, and most likely liking lego as well.

i never liked having to work only on the big green boards, you know, but i wasnt very good at doing without, so i built houses a lot, and then never had enough to do a roof.... lego is SO much cooler nowadays

this is unrelated, but: we just had the baby sitting in the box in which the scanner came. it was her boat, and she was a pirate, too. babies are cute when you put them in things.

hooray for scanners and things of pirates! babies are cute when you put them in things. there's this really funny picture that's in my journalism design book that has a baby in this box filled with those foam peanuts. it has a manual with that says owner's manual or something. i will have to find it or scan it to you. i'm glad that you're happy. i think i'm going to run off now like a little child and start scribbling all over the walls.

That is, I think, one of my favorite things about Gargoyles. Aside from the fact it was an excellent cartoon. I was a Trekkie from birth, and grew up on TOS and TNG, and so I thought it was fabulous how much of the cast from TNG did the voices in the cartoon.
