sometimes, my life is more beautiful than i ever could have asked it to be.

this is what i did today. i walked a labyrinth. it was a labyrinth that looked like this, in fact, although it was smaller. liz and her family took me to a wonderful church filled with neat old nuns. the church was decorated for mardi gras, with glitter and beads. i cannot talk about that place without sounding trite, but believe me, it made the world seem better than it had been before i went. i love old women so very much. i'd like to be a nun one day, although i probably never will. we went and ate good pancakes and other things after that, and then went to target, where my belief in the saving power of worldly goods was reaffirmed, as if i'd ever really doubted it.

i'm consistently awed by just how amazing my friends are.

my heart is the moon, and tonight, my heart is full.

Wow...I really liked this post. Some posts just choke me up, you know?

Do you believe the moon to be have serious powers and affects? If so, please continue.

aww, i'm glad. thanks.

really, there are very few things i don't believe affect everything else, whether in terms of spirituality or physics or both. i like the moon, and i'm close to her, but i don't know her well. if she gives omens, i cannot read them. she shows up in my tea leaves a lot, though; she's a nice way to tell time. [livejournal.com profile] moonsalted is a nice place a friend of mine made to talk about her.

Gracias! :) I checked it out, but I don't understand the ways of the moon....The most I learned from it was from Cunt....I couldn't follow the map you posted. :(

the map was only remotely connected to what i said... i don't follow all of the detail on gravity, but it was mostly just there to show the shape of the earth as affected by tides, the moon, centrifugal force.
