When Fin and I were in England and we were living unadjusted to the time difference (as we always did) we went to Asda, which, being interpreted, is Walmart, at about three in the morning: there we met a shelf-stacker who turned out to be from Philadelphia, who greeted Fin like an old friend and proceeded to give a detailed verbal guide for how to live in Britain as a Philadelphian.
