I find this entry difficult. I understand what you are saying, once I would have found it elating and agreed with it wholeheartedly, but I no longer find it so. I have seen such things as beautiful, but I now consider them to be gewgaws and gimcrackery. Pretty, attractive, distracting. I am not yet sure where that leads or how it relates to you. Perhaps I'll have something more useful to say in a few years.

I admire your acrobatics, the jive and swing of your vocabulary. I particularly enjoyed your use of the word 'confection'. I've long felt that it deserves more frequent use in that context. You are on excellent form.
