the past few days have been about nothing but people and food, particularly a kosher/vegetarian restaurant called singapore in chinatown, and lemonade made of alcohol, and fried everything, including oreos with bananas, at the frier party. firinel and marnanel came, as did lots of people from the store, brad pitt, and edward norton. i stayed after class today to talk with people who were born or have lived outside of the states about americans who do not understand socialism. please note that ted is crying while eating honey nut cheerios, and that american conservatives, who think crazy things about literature, have banded together to name the ten most harmful books of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
