i've just read the last issue of starman. i've tried to write about how much i love starman before, but i always fail. (i usually find myself writing hideously embarrassing love letters to the shade, and realizing what would happen to your remaining respect for me were i to actually share them.) jack, and ted knight, and the shade, and mikael, and the o'dares, and bennetti, and opal itself simply feel like good, close friends. and opal is pittsburgh. i cannot explain more than that.
