we drove and drove and mike was horrid but that is ok. we got here and alex lifted big heavy things because he is great. robin was also very very helpful, and i was very very thankful. my roommates (liz and robin and lexi) are neat neat neat. then later there was pizza and people and then there was sleep, and today i was very busy. i went to ikea and got a bookshelf and bed and went grocery shopping and i made food and i wrote a paper and i did dishes and i built a bookshelf without directions and cleaned a little and i wrote this. oh, at ikea they had skins to sleep on, white ones, and i wanted to get one for the boy but my mom and mike were getting grumpyish so i had to stick to necessities. still, you were thought of, mister finn. we watched the birdcage and mash and harry potter and other things and i have good books to read and cinnamon tea to drink. there are three rivers in pittsburgh, and only venice has more bridges. i saw the glass castle for the first time today. i haven't seen kaitlin yet, but i will, and she makes me so ridiculously giddy. i'll look for a job tomorrow, and maybe i'll get really good ice cream, too.
