carnival.
it is only by leaving and returning after a longish while that i realize just how strongly my room smells of incense, sage, burnt things. it is comforting, like witches.
there is famine and there is feast; there is the fast and there is the festival. hand me my harlequin mask, please.
similarly, lately i've been wondering how it could be possible that i have fallen mildly in love with so very many people, but that all of them would be unattainable. sometimes i feel like a sailor. most of the time i just feel rather silly.

Well. These are words you have taken right out of my head and placed them into your LiveJournal. I feel like I should elaborate, but you've worded it perfectly.

Your mood
Your sailor reference made me think of a song from the lastest Rasputina album. If you don't know it the line is..."Neglected girls shouldn't worry, that's what God made sailors for!" Perhaps that should be your game plan? *suggestive moue*
In any case, Mister, How do you feel about primarily anonymous package swapping? I've a plan in the works and I think you'd be tremendously good.
