The first season of Mad Men that I obtained happened to have been screened originally on BBC HD, and during the credits it was announced that Torchwood would be up next. I'm trying to remember whether I watch any media at all that doesn't end with the revelation that Torchwood is lurking somewhere behind it, probably hoping that it looks dangerous and fiercely sexual while trying not to cry.

I'm pretty sure I could easily whip you up a program that would automatically follow all videos with a randomly selected episode of Torchwood.

It already exists. It's called the BBC.

Yes, but you don't actually have the BBC, you have hour-long chunks of BBC in which you see ads for Torchwood that are followed by a return to your desktop.

And that is all the Torchwood I need. Well. That and this:

It is the anti-Tom continuum!

First: Mad Men is incredible.

Second: A similar thing happened to me while catching up on Battlestar, only it was Doctor Who that was always up next. I just kept thinking about what a great hour of TV that must have been and what a fool I was to have missed it.
